Location: 780 North Maryland Avenue, Atlantic City, New Jersey

Incident: Male shot multiple times

Victim: Lamar Harris, age 28 of Atlantic City, New Jersey

Suspect description is a black male who fled from the scene. There was no other suspect description. Det. Richard Johnson is interviewing witnesses and gathering more suspect information. The victim was being treated by hospital personnel. The Investigators will follow up with the victim to attempt to gather more information pertaining to the shooting.

Time: 1:50pm

Location: Indiana Avenue and Hummock Avenue, Atlantic City, New Jersey

Incident: Multiple shots fired at a moving vehicle causing a motor vehicle accident

Atlantic City Police dispatch received a call of shots fired and then a minute later a call for a motor vehicle accident in the 600 block of North Indiana Avenue, Atlantic City. It was discovered the two incidents were related.

Passenger, Kalim Ali, sustained an injury to his eye. Ali was being treated at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. The injury is not believed to be life threatening.

Witnesses indicated the driver fled from the scene. The driver has not been located.
