All proceeds go directly towards building/rehabilitating homes in Cumberland County for hard working families in need.  Families partnering with Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity contribute a minimum of 250 hours of sweat equity building/rehabbing their home.  When the home is complete it is sold to the family through a 0% interest mortgage from Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity for the total cost of building the home. 

 

Our current project in Millville is a completely handicapped accessible home for a family of seven.  Among the five children are twin five year old boys who suffer the disabling effects of cerebral palsy.  Currently living in a dilapidated two story home and being bound to a wheelchair, their parents must carry the growing boys up and down the stairs to use the bathroom and go to bed.  In their new home the boys will be able to live a more independent life then they could have ever imagined. Your donation will help us complete their home and hopefully give them a new house by Christmas!!!
