Councilman George Tibbitt Organizes Trip To Ellis Island
 
AC Councilman George Tibbitt  has organized the 8th grade students of Atlantic City with best attendance record to share in an excursion to famed Ellis Island, the origin of the arrival to America by so many in our countries history.
 
Councilman Tibbitt has traveled to New York City with students of the Atlantic City School district for an educational and informative day.
 
George is working hard to bring people together. This class trip is about showing our young people, and all involved with Councilman Tibbitt's program, that we are all one....by showing that we may all have origins and roots from other places in the world, but we are all Americans with a great heritage of understanding.
 
Councilman Tibbitt will visit with the Atlantic City Students, the gateway to American citizenship and all of its history today by bus trip and ferry excursion arriving at Ellis Island.
